Love Key Lime Pie? Try these sweet and tangy little energy treat siblings to satisfy your sweet tooth in a healthy and delicious way without the sugar.
Makes about 15 servings
YOU WILL NEED
2/3 cup organic canned full-fat coconut milk
2/3 cup filtered water
1 pouch BurnButter® Natural
3 tablespoons grass-fed gelatin
3 tablespoons whey protein powder
1/4 cup fresh lime juice
2 tablespoons monkfruit sweetener (granulated, or sweetener of your choice)
¼ teaspoon sea salt
Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and turn the heat to medium-low. Stir well and heat up just until the gelatin dissolves, do not boil.
Pour the mix into molds of your choice or a glass baking dish (recommended size 9"x13"). Move to the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to set. Remove the treats from the molds or cut to the desired size in the baking dish. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Not a fan of lime? Try your favorite fruit juices or fruit purees. Use Gummy Bear molds to get kids as well as grown-ups even more excited about the little treats.
